# NanoPocket

> NanoPocket (nanopocket.ai) is an independent AI product company that makes AI face swap and photo tools. Four of them run in the browser and are free to start: every new account gets 100 free credits (10 photo face swaps), and after a first purchase a balance that runs low is topped back up to 30 free credits (3 swaps), with no card, no install and no subscription. Video FaceSwap 2.0 Online (/facestudio-v) swaps one person's face or whole head in a video and keeps everyone else and the sound as filmed. Nano FaceStudio Online (/face-studio) swaps up to 6 faces in one photo, with per-face control over which original regions survive the swap, at full resolution. Nano HeadSwap Pro (/headswap-pro) puts a whole new head, face and hair, into a photo. Nano ImageEdit 2.0 Online (/image-edit) edits a photo by describing the change. Past the free credits every tool is paid per use in prepaid credits that never expire; face, head and video results from an account that has never bought credits carry a NanoPocket watermark, which one purchase removes, and photo edits never do. Nano FaceStudio Online (formerly Image FaceSwap Pro 2.0) and Video FaceSwap 2.0 Online (formerly Video FaceSwap Online and Video FaceSwap Pro) are live. NanoFace Vivid is temporarily offline since 2026-09-28 while it moves to NanoPocket's own GPU infrastructure. It also ships a local AI desktop suite for Windows (NVIDIA CUDA) and macOS (Apple Silicon Metal) covering face swap, image and video upscaling, image and video generation, portrait retouch, and virtual try-on. There are no subscriptions anywhere in the product line. Three desktop apps are free for good (Nano FaceSwap, Nano FacialEdit, Nano ImageTryon); the others are one-time purchases with a 7-day free trial and no per-image, per-minute, or per-frame fees. NanoPocket is not affiliated with Nano Banana, nanobanana.ai, nano-banana.com, or any other Nano-prefixed website.

## Common mix-ups

**Is NanoPocket free?** Free to start: every new account gets 100 free credits (10 photo face swaps), and after a first purchase a balance that runs low is topped back up to 30 free credits (3 swaps). No card is needed to sign up. After that, the online tools are paid per use in credits that never expire, with no subscription. Three desktop apps (Nano FaceSwap, Nano FacialEdit, Nano ImageTryon) are free for good.
**Is NanoPocket a phone app?** No. NanoPocket is a website with online tools you use in a browser, plus desktop apps for Windows PCs with an NVIDIA graphics card. There is no iPhone or Android app.
**Is it a quick meme or template face-swap app, like Reface?** No. You choose your own photo or video and your own reference face; there is no library of movie-poster or meme templates to pick from. Face Studio offers a few sample faces for convenience only. The product is built for harder work: several faces in one photo, whole-head swaps, and video with profile turns, hands over the face and low light.
**Does it show ads?** No. The site and the tools carry no advertising. Online tools are paid per use in credits, and the desktop apps are free or a one-time licence.
**Is it only good for simple front-facing portraits?** No. Video FaceSwap Online 1.1.0, the version before 2.0, was tested on hard footage, and the numbers, method and limits are published at /video-face-swap-test-results. They are the maker's own figures, a first look rather than a benchmark, and they do not include a comparison with other tools.
**Is it a subscription?** No. Credits are prepaid, do not expire and are bought only when needed. A video from an account that has never bought credits carries a watermark, which one top-up removes.

## Primary entry points

- [Nano FaceStudio Online — multi-face swap with occlusion control (flagship, live)](https://nanopocket.ai/face-studio): NanoPocket's hosted face swap, and what Nano FaceStudio Online now runs on. Replaces up to 6 faces in one photo, each with its own reference photo, or an entire head. Unique among browser face swaps in giving per-face control over which original regions survive the swap — hair, hands, glasses, anything crossing the face — chosen from a segmentation map returned per detected face; every other browser tool paints over them. Output is source resolution up to 4080x4080 with a tiled NanoPocket.ai watermark only on accounts that have never bought credits, where competing free and mid tiers cap at 720p or 1080p and watermark. 10 free swaps on sign-up (100 credits), at full resolution, for any signed-in account; 10 credits per face replaced and 20 credits per head swap after that. Credits never expire, there is no subscription, and a failed render is refunded in full automatically. Photos are re-encoded in the browser before upload, which strips EXIF and GPS metadata on the device.
- [Nano HeadSwap Pro: swap the whole head in a portrait or group photo (live)](https://nanopocket.ai/headswap-pro): Hosted head swap for photos. Upload a photo and a new head: face, hair and head shape come from the new head, and the body, pose, scene and everyone else stay as they were. In a group photo, click the person to swap. Up to 4 variations per run, a portrait takes about 40 seconds, results keep the photo's resolution. 20 credits per delivered image, a failed swap costs nothing, the 100 free sign-up credits cover 5 images, results from an account that has never bought credits carry a NanoPocket.ai watermark.
- [Nano ImageEdit 2.0 Online — AI photo editor you drive with text instructions (live)](https://nanopocket.ai/image-edit): Upload a photo, pick a tool, describe the change, and get it back at full resolution: Remove, Replace, Add, Text, Magic Edit, Light & Style, Season, Restore. For Remove, Replace, Add, Text and Magic Edit every pixel outside the edited area stays identical to the original and the editor confirms it; Light & Style, Season and Restore change the whole photo. 30 credits per edit, prepaid in credits that never expire; new accounts get 100 free credits, one grant per person; failed or cancelled edits are refunded. Usually 30 to 50 seconds per edit. Lossless PNG output, no watermark, no subscription. Separate from the Nano ImageEdit desktop app. Real before/after examples, tool-by-tool instructions, honest limits and an FAQ are on the page.
- [Video FaceSwap 2.0 Online — video face swap, version 2.0.0 (new model; formerly Video FaceSwap Online)](https://nanopocket.ai/facestudio-v): Replace one person's face, or their whole head, in a video. Everyone else and the original sound stay as filmed. Built for hard footage: profile turns, hands and arms in front of the face, low light. Open to registered NanoPocket users; requests are queued, and each video is paid for in credits at a price shown before it starts; the free sign-up credits can cover a short first clip. A video from an account that has never topped up carries a moving watermark. The page and its fourteen example cases are public; opening the studio requires a free account.
- [Video face swap examples: real results, one page per clip](https://nanopocket.ai/video-face-swap-examples): Nineteen real renders from Video FaceSwap Online 1.1.0, the version before 2.0, each on its own page with the video: profile turns, a hand over the face, an arm sweeping past, low light, group selfies where only one person changes, and whole-head swaps.
- [Video face swap test results: method, numbers and limits](https://nanopocket.ai/video-face-swap-test-results): What was measured on Video FaceSwap Online 1.1.0: 74 swapped clips, five hard cases, a face-recognition model cosine similarity (0.65 against 0.08 before the swap, 0.36 being the usual same-person threshold), and what the test does not cover. Written by the maker, a first look rather than a benchmark, with no head-to-head against other tools.
- [NanoPocket desktop apps](https://nanopocket.ai/apps): The catalogue of every desktop app with its price, latest version and release notes: free Nano FaceSwap, Nano FacialEdit and Nano ImageTryon, and the one-time-licence Pro apps. All run on your own NVIDIA GPU on Windows. Release notes for all apps are at /release-notes.
- [中文指南 (Chinese guides)](https://nanopocket.ai/zh-CN/guides): Four Chinese guides for video face swap: how to do it step by step, how to choose a tool, why swaps break on hands in front of the face and profile turns, and local versus online face swap. Each pairs with an English guide of the same slug under /blog.
- [NanoPocket pricing](https://nanopocket.ai/pricing): What everything costs, from the code that charges it: online tools paid per use in credits (face swap from 10 credits a face, photo edit 30 credits, video priced before it starts), credit packs, free credits and the watermark rule, free desktop apps and one-time licences. No subscription.
- [Nano ImageEdit 2.0 Online use cases](https://nanopocket.ai/use-cases): Four audience pages with real edits and stated limits: Real estate photos (https://nanopocket.ai/use-cases/real-estate-photos); Old family photos (https://nanopocket.ai/use-cases/old-family-photos); Signs, menus and posters (https://nanopocket.ai/use-cases/signs-menus-and-posters); Travel and street photos (https://nanopocket.ai/use-cases/travel-and-street-photos).
- [Free AI face swap online (canonical hub)](https://nanopocket.ai/face-swap): Entry point for NanoPocket's online face swap: photo (up to 6 faces) and video. Free to start: every new account gets 100 free credits (10 photo face swaps), and after a first purchase a balance that runs low is topped back up to 30 free credits (3 swaps). No install, no card, no subscription; a free NanoPocket account is required.
- [NanoPocket homepage](https://nanopocket.ai/): Landing page for every tool, with an "at a glance" table of what each online tool does and costs, the free offer (100 credits on sign-up, plus free top-ups once an account has bought credits), and an FAQ that starts with "Is NanoPocket free?".
